Why Eausmo exists

My name is Marc-Alexandre Duval. Like a lot of people, I pay attention to my health: I train, I watch what I eat, I read labels. Digging into the subject, I realized there was an inconsistency in my own routine.

Water makes up roughly 60% of an adult body — and up to 73% of the brain. It is by far what we consume in the greatest quantity, every day, for life. Yet it's the one thing we swallow without ever reading its composition. We pick our olive oil carefully, then fill a glass from the tap without a thought.

Clear doesn't mean pure. Tap water meets standards, but compliant and pure are two different things: the chlorine required to disinfect the network, the lead service lines still present in older neighbourhoods, PFAS, microplastics. None of it is visible, and it can't always be smelled or tasted.

That's why I started Eausmo. Not to sell fear — Quebec's water is among the best treated in the world — but because I believe you should know what you're drinking, and be able to decide. That's why the water test is free and carries no obligation: you see your own results, in your home, and then you choose. Plenty of people don't need anything. They leave with the information at least.

And it's why the price is published on this site. In this industry, the custom is to hold the number until the end of the visit, after the demonstration. I find that unpleasant. You know what it costs before you even talk to me.
